St Michael’s has an active and enthusiastic Parents Engagement Group (PEG). All parents/guardians of students are automatically members of the PEG and we invite you to be an active participant.

The primary objectives of the PEG are to build community and fundraise. The PEG achieves this by:

  • Contributing to the wellbeing of the school community – students, parents and staff
  • Encouraging the participation of all parents/guardians in the life of their school and in the education of their children, and
  • Operating democratically and inclusively, providing opportunities for parents/guardians to develop links within the school community.

The primary focus of the PEG is to provide an opportunity for parents to contribute valuable input in the life of St Michael’s and to stay informed of developments around the school. The support of the PEG is integral to the efficient running of the school. The PEG is  a social arm of the school community and assists with fundraising. They have a responsibility for the running of several committees within the school.

PEG meets on the Tuesday of Week 7 of every Term at 5.30pm in the HUB. Notice is given via the school newsletter and Compass app, prior to the meeting, advising of the agenda.
